EvoTechPro focuses on developing and providing computer systems and computer appliances that can be implemented into a audio/video monitoring environment. The systems we provide require that the user have some infrastructure in place, like a network or dedicated internet connection, but with little else you can begin recording and editing completely within a digital environment.

• 8 Channel System: $1650

• EDR2: Hard Drive Recording Unit designed for production environment and can record up to four channels simultaneously. Maintains approximately 10-80 days of local news storage in the MPEG2 format. These files are immediately editable on the EEW non-linear editing system. No capturing, rendering, or transcoding is needed when editing from these files. The EDR2 monitors storage space and deletes the oldest files when space runs low. When working in conjunction with the EEW, the EDR has a “read-only” mapped drive that allows you to pull needed files across your network for editing, without worry of accidentally deleting a newscast. The EDR comes with a complete browser based interface for scheduling and viewing recording events, and new advanced features that surpass the EDR-1 systems. The system can also be accessed from remote locations for changing or adding recording events when away from the office. $2000-$3000 per system, depending on storage needs.

• EDR2t: Same configuration as the EDR-1, but with the capability to store over 30+ days of local news, plus closed captioning, remote editing, and is capable of 2 channel radio recording. This is a "one computer" solution for complete CC, TV and Radio recording and is ideal for remote market deployment: $4000-$4500, depending on storage needs.

• EEW: This low cost editing workstation comes ready to edit right out of the box. Designed to work in conjunction with the EDR units, the EEW system is optimized for analog capture from tape, outputting to tape, real-time editing in the MPEG2 format, professional titling, burning to DVD, and outputting to virtually every format or resolution available. The simple interface allows one to master the basics within 30 minutes of practice: $2300

EEW w/Edius software: The simple interface of Edius allows even a novice to learn non-linear editing in 30 minutes or less. With a well written manual, Edius can perform all editing functions from tape, DVD, or MPEG2’s coming off of the EDR. With an integrated, professional grade titling program, and input and output capabilities to handle virtually any digital or analog format, Edius is ideal for news monitoring. Here you see an MPEG2 open for editing; no rendering, no transcoding, just open and edit. Three mouse clicks and your news story is on the timeline.

EEW w/Edius software: Edius allows you to output to tape directly from the timeline, just click play, or use the integrated ProCoder program for outputting to digital formats. Above you see the DVD creation and burning wizard activated. To create a DVD, with chapters, only takes approximately 6 mouse clicks. ProCoder also allows you to customize resolutions, sizes, and any other parameter you want to adjust on a digital file.
